Allhater here. 20 years and believe me posts I read we have it equally bad at “good hands.” Staff miserable CEO who is near top for bonuses no health coverage frozen pay layoffs. And we are told no plans to create hubs which is clearly a lie and insulting. Economy is booming its sheer greed in an outdated business model in an industry that has jumped the shark and in decline. Good luck.

It’s no consolation but as Allstater you have our senior mgt obsessed with catching your lighting which will never happen— we have id–ts running asylum into ground at bad hands too. I like to read because whatever horrible stuff they force and lie to u employees about we have a 2-3 lag behind I estimate. Case in point we are regionalizing (oh no one will confirm or deny) to AZ TX IL and NC at Allstate and all other locations closed. So already looking. This is really a sad sad industry apologists will say it’s just business. And they are right. So as for company loyalty f it look out for self first and burn bridges trust me it works out — a neat retirement lifer in insurance—-
Wow. Allstater checking back. You guys really do have pro company shills who troll your board too. Not sure I agree economic or societal unless you mean specific to insurance industry: yes it's outdated business model and we are all stuck in a downward spiral to become = Mexican labor. I would caution anyone about choosing a career in this industry.
Yep. By my estimation, most of these "pro State Farm" posts are made by the same two people. I'd tell you how I know it's two (and not 1 or 3 or 500), but I'd rather not notify them of their blatant and obvious tell.
I see the State Farm PR cronies are here trying to make it look like the massive layoffs are an industry wide problem when a simple google search will prove that state farm is the undisputed king of insurance industry layoffs, not just in terms of sheer numbers but as a percentage of workforce as well.
Please go spread your BS somewhere else. Unless maybe you'd like to tell us again how the next round of employee incentives are going to be AMAZING for perhaps the 1000th time.
We feel your pain. I have personally been through several of these and it's stressful.
Promises made and not kept. Bottom line.
Been noting on here for a while that competitor sites have the same discussions going on. But some don’t like hearing that. Maybe it doesn’t jibe with their “I’m a poor hapless victim” status, or maybe they don’t feel like they’re “winning” if it’s just as bad elsewhere.
This change is not just a State Farm thing...it’s an economic and societal thing.
NOT a shill I wandered over from Allstate board. We are laying off and closing offices try all Ca Ky and IN. How would I know this because i work there. Talk of regional hubs same way u guys got screwed so I agree unite re this industry is in a miserable over saturated greed driven competitive mode based on old outdated corporate models and trying to play catch-up while Geicos and Lemonade are gaining market share no gloating saying honestly staff is beaten down country wide at good hands
Go look at our board you guys may have it better. Allstate lifer.
