Do we have any update on layoffs for AM's or support staff. Most support staff work from home and take 3 days to respond to a basic email. The local AM forwards emails from the director and adds "FYI".

Ok maybe some are bad however mine in the west is good to go. I think we also need to understand many problems we have are money based .
FYI ...
Funny that a metric is tied to an email lol. Petty ... if you dont receive a response.. pick up the phone and call them.
Hey OP.....STFU with these BS posts.
my AVP MASTERED THE outlook GAME TO A NEW LEVEL..... DELEGATE EVERYTHING.....copy everyone, and do as little as possible. AND PLAY LOTS OF golf...
The best leaders are those who get out of the way and let their subordinates do their jobs without micro managing them, which means that the less work you do as an AM, the better suited you are for the position, because that makes you a better leader. This same logic can be extrapolated all the way up the hierarchy. Randall Stephenson deserves to be the CEO because not only does he do less work, he does anti-work.
If everyone at AT&T were promoted to CEO, we would be infinitely more productive and profitable, since everyone would have the highest possible title but with no subordinates. Doing no work divided by the work that your subordinates do (0 since nobody has any if everyone is the CEO), gives us an equation of 0/0, which is undefined. Since our productivity and therefore our revenue stream becomes undefined, we are legally allowed to report an infinite amount of profit to wall street and give ourselves $100 trillion bonuses.
Yes VZW does not have middle management and they seem to be doing well.
Classic. If HR wants help figuring out the groups that work and those who are dead weight, respond here. The nonsense these groups get away with is ridiculous! Personally I think it’s the Directors and AVPs playing along to protect their own jobs! Wake up AT&T. You have been asleep at the wheel for far too long!
Sounds like dead weight.
