The educational and entertaining display of marine animals is what made SeaWorld famous and prosperous and now it's owned and run by a bunch of know-nothing blood s---ing ticks and this company is circiling the drain, and that's the last nice thing I have to say about them................
During the last salaried layoff anyone with a vp title was reclassified as a senior leader, and managers and directors became leaders.
This only applies at the park levek, so of course corp still has vps/managers/directors
Senior leadership? Like the manager ?
I think she left on her own.
Some people have the ability to find other jobs, or not work at all if finances allow. The company is run by penny pinching millionaires that expect ever better returns with less resources. They will squeeze until they get a return on their millions, then bail out and the leave the company as a shell of what it once was; a tourist destination and known worldwide as a animal knowledge base. It's been demoted to a regional theme park. It's a sad state of affairs. Morale is indeed at an all time low. The smart ones are leaving... guess what that leaves?

I’m pretty sure that we will all find out what they disagreed with that ended up costing them their positions. I do like the idea that they made some sort of “moral” stand that didn’t fly with business. All of us are being squeezed and moral is at an all time low. Quite upsetting for those that remain...for now. The familial feeling and fun that used to motivate/bond us is dead.
I heard Sr leadership in the entertainment dept (California)is no longer with us as well. Anyone else heard that?
Who? Give us the tea
She was one of the good ones... those people don't last at the company anymore. Sycophants and politicians survive
That's f#$%d up. She has a clue.
I feel bad for Señor Leader.
