Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

New round in april

Prepare for a massive bloodletting in power in April. As many as 4000 people, primarily USA employees, are on the chopping block us the company continues to shift leadership to Baden and manufacturing to Alstoms silent facilities. The facilities are far more modern than those in Schenectady and Greenville; both could be shut down.

All jokes and exaggerations aside, OP is somewhat correct. In April, GE Power will have 10% reduction between the employees in Atlanta and Greenville. Good luck everyone.

We see post like this over and over again because GE always has layoffs over and over again. GE has always been known as the layoff king. Layoffs are always coming. Always has been. Always will be. It’s the GE way until the doors are locked forever.

Just because we see posts like this over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken seriously this time.

I don't see how laying off people will help GE gain share in a declining GT market.

GE has learned their lesson with the European entitlement mindset and multi-year severance packages after begging the government for RIFSs. Trust me, they’ll GTFO of Europe ASAP, and never return.

Schdy can only hope to end the misery. Bring on another layoff and get rid of the crying T Rates. Then get rid of those useless and clueless managers.

Us D Rates will get this plant back to the way it use to be. By walking out the door until we get our way again. Although I believe a plant closing is coming. Look at the clueless managers they have running the place? One manager walks around like he is going to a fight but stops and starts digging hard in his buttocks crack.

Good for the socialist pigs to continue to work for an American company as hard working Americans lose their jobs. What happened to making America Great Again. Guess there aren’t enough degenerates looking for Trump to make a call to Larbear! But don’t worry when he pulls the sh--hole out of the dumbs he will get his payout.
