I just said goodbye to my Field IT Sisters and Brothers for the last time. We were all given the HCL road or the highway dirt road. I remember long ago in Cedar Rapids at a Quaker plant, cleaning sewage from a “500 year flood”. People volunteered from all over the country. They flew in, many drove hundreds of miles to help the company we loved get one of our heartland plants back up on its feet. I spent 18 days and nights in Cedar Rapids with good people who cared for one another.
Today, some 11 years later, it’s all over. At the hands of some Excuse for an Executive (JD), who most likely ate Wise chips and drank Coke, back when Field IT, then PBSG QFB and PBG came together to lend a hand.
What a discrace Pepsico IT has become.
I’m sure you sleep well at night JD.
