Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Does Culp have any direction?

I haven’t seen a lot of out of this leadership, other than a panic urge to gather cash via selloffs and layoffs. Not even the sight of innovation, or a new direction of the company. I have to admit I had my hopes up for this leadership, but as time goes by I lost all my faith in them. Will there be any turnaround or just more selloffs an layoffs?

You're assuming Culp gives a d@mn. Danaher stock, which I'm sure he has a ton of, is up $30 per share since he took over as GE CEO, whatever his position is with his GE stock, he's covered.

"No idea" is a good description in general.

As he would say, "I'm like a cold rain except I leaves you more wetter."

@YGJMDqf-2fsr.....Apparently you have no idea what free cash flow is. Why would any company want to cut free cash flow. You’ll have to find another way to bring Schenectady and Greenville into the conversation.

Like it was stated I’m not the one on the losing end dear..paranoia? CEOs under funding pensions to buy back stocks in their option packages.... then sell off pieces to uplift other stocks that they have large shares within... that’s not paranoia..that’s just fact.... ignorance is living in denial.... or willfully ignorant...you keep on playing in the matrix we will see who comes out the winner... oh... wait ..dumped mine when it was high .... I didn’t lose a penny... I’m happy with that paranoia...

Oh please it is rigged ...simple minded? NO!!! I’m not the one in a lose lose position while the emperor gets sold piece by piece like a used up car lot...... I cashed out at $32.19 ...dear... far from a small thinker unlike yourself... I don’t tolerate matrix dwellers...

The stock market isn’t rigged. 99% of its transactions are automated, and based on algorithms. Too much for the simple-minded to understand I suppose...

If it’s a dumb post than why are you on here reading it? The biopharma deal generating 20 billion? Yes... but Gulper had shares in the company which automatically sky rocketed... made him even richer.... rigged ..the stock market is rigged and manipulated like a cheap c-sino slot machine.....dumb post? Nah... part of the reason these thugs continue to get away with their legalized theft are the sheople that follow along....

Dumb post. The direction has been clear for some time. The sale of biofarma was anything except a panic generating over 20B. Dumb post.

Immelt or Culp. I choose Culp he has a track record in growing business, he is only picking up the pieces of a broken company after 17 years of Immelt fantasy leadership surrounded by mediocre clueless yes sheeple.

He is subject to the very same motivations that drive all of us. He will make a lot of money either way. The question is whether his motivation includes becoming GE’s savior. He could do it, but it will be his choice in the end.

Conversely, American corporations are being systematically destroyed. One by one. So, the question might be posed differently. Which team is he playing for? Therein lies the answer.

his direction is to make a lot of money for himself. take a look at what he got for paid for less than 1/2 a year in 2018. if you think he is any different than any other 1%er, think again. me, myself and I all the way!

Who cares ! Either you got a long time horizon to invest in this company or you put your money elsewhere. If you are employed by Power lots of changes coming. Bout time middle managers sent down the road and they sell the French operations completely. FY 2020 will be fresh look for Power !
