It was for employees only - not for investors. The investors are only included on the calls for the quarterly reports.

If you really were an investor you would know that nothing we learned in that meeting would be of any use to you. We couldn’t learn anything of substance without of first being released to the public

InvestorA ..stop already all you are is someone who is not employed at Windstream trying to be nosy ..just because you had Windstream doesn’t really make you an investor.if you were an actual investor you would have put maybe a couple million of you person money into the company to invest on return therefore being at the investors meeting and would already know what this is about !!so you have worthless Windstream stock !! SO just stop with the how can I be nosy and listen to the call questions

What jobs are being sent overseas? Can you support the claim?

Windstream opened a call center in Jamaica last year. Also they have outsourced the IT department to IBM which is covering the workload with folks from India. They have out source the VNOC to an outside company which they hired mostly the windstream employees then in 6 months laid them

Off to employees in Europe.

What is all this prison talk about?

On Stream which is an internal Facebook page, someone (ILEC field tech employee) posted something about no pay raises and how the company is running into the ground. Tony replied with this isn't a prison and we don't lock the doors so you can leave whenever you want. The old HR vice president quit because of Tony ego.

Since you are an "Investor" why dont you ask Tony these questions on the Quarterly Conference Calls? Tony is always open to questions on these calls

As an investor, yes, I think I should have access to the meeting. You folks are investors too, at least those smart enough to do the retirement plans. Besides, you are investing your working career there. Maybe you are too close. Maybe I am too far away. All the more reason to audit the meeting. And all the more reason for you to invest in the company.

But you have not addressed my questions about what would you do if you ran the company. The course it was on is doomed to fail. Windstream needs to change to adapt to a changing market. And it is. And when it does, and the stock shoots way up, I hope you guys are in, and in big. Don't let your anger and frustrations interfere with your judgment and sensibilities.

@poster -do you really think you are getting access to an internal employee meeting? Do you really think you will learn anything of substanace?? You wanna know how the employees are treated? Like poo. We are berated and belittled at the whim of tony. When he feels like descending from his French alp perch - he tells employees to learn proper grammar - though he makes mistakes as well - he tells us it’s not a prison - but prisons are built from more than walls - he tells us no raises based on job performance anymore. You need a promo to earn more. Yet TT gets his bonuses and raises... all the employees with skills are leaving because we are tired of the TT criminal gang who sends our jobs overseas. I’ve heard from a credible source he hates America. Also - and this is true - he claims investors are id--ts.

There is hardly ever any meetings where anyone takes an idea or suggestion seriously, if at all. It all gets blown off. God forbid you give any constructive criticisim or you'll be shunned to the pits.

In one breath its company turning around, in other breath industry in trouble. I do not want excuses. I need a raise so I can quit cutting back on EVERYTHING!!! Work load up but desire to do job down. Hopefully, there will be immediate pay adjustments announced so employees give a c-ap again...but sadly few emplyees expect anything positive to come from this Town Hall. Going to be slow 2019 I suspect.

Layoffs have to be expected for a company in trouble, in an industry in change. It is a widespread action. Even AT&T is doing it. I think the companies have no choice. And for Windstream, competition is fierce and technology changing. Some of this layoff pressure must be due to overlap of duties after the two recent mergers. If any of you were in charge, I'd bet you'd combine the jobs and eliminate positions not needed' That is, you'd take a similar course of action. You'd have to. Otherwise you'd go out of business.

I agree it is ugly and terrible for those losing jobs. But if actions like this are not taken, the whole company could go down. They often do. Then everyone loses their jobs.

At least, with Windstream, you are turning things around. The company is definitely coming back: sales up, debt down, and security is returning. As I recall, several years ago the situation was horribly bleak. It is not so much, now.

But you guys are the key to the success of Windstream. I am sure each of you knows there are problems that can be fixed, ways to increase customer service, you see wasted actions and expenses, you see opportunities missed.

Do you have ways to share ideas? Meetings to discuss how to improve the business? Feedback? Rewards for money-saving ideas? What is needed to make you feel as though you are part of the solution?

Getting back to the main question, though... how can I listen in?

An investor who cares about how windstream employees are treated? I guess you've missed the thousands of layoffs, no raises, no bonuses, laughable healthcare, and all around nightmare TT and his lackeys have created. All while taking told (and untold) millions in bonuses and kickbacks. TT takes his family to the swiss alps every year while we pray to the gods that we can pay our mortgage each month.
