RIFs, new DSBP, My Time, Workday, being moved to different teams, Call evaluations that are beyond picky. Change after change. One minute speak about quality calls and “ digging deep”,told to increase support calls and chart til your fingers fall off but God Almighty, make sure your numbers don’t fall. I feel like I am in a bad dream with HAH.

OP I so agree. I do not understand the rationale for the worsening day to day of this company. New upper management , out to scoop up the Medicare dollars and profits and damn the workers who make them look good, damn the members who suffer inadequate medical care. I remember health care in the days before HMOs and while Medicare and private insurances were not perfect, looking back they seem like extravagant support compared to society now. We are all slowly boiling in the hot vat of profit oriented health " care" .
The micromanaging here is the worst! They are NOT transparent and they do not take criticism well. They think we are stupid by telling us that they are making changes to help us when their main intent is to dump more work on us. So tired of that BS!!!! Also, so tired of the excuses when it comes to paying us!!!! I am sure high leadership roles do not get our off for their raises and bonuses! I am mad!!!!
Horrible job!!! The worst ever. Getting out of here!!
Are we doing this to ourselves? SO many working off the clock.
Don't do anything that will stop your bonus. All work so hard, constant changes, we adapt, tick boxes to make charting appropriate for audits. We are not able to chart as we should, visit, problems, educating member, reinforcing s/s of disease and charting positive outcomes. We need to get back to the basics of nursing and social work. Not bitter, just concerned that we are no longer to connect with members on there level.
Get your word out to Medicare as they pay the bills in the grand scheme of things.
I know this is a lay off forum website, but it is really nice to post your true feelings anonymously. I feel like if you say anything negative during meetings a target is placed on your back . No matter what they say, they do not take constructive criticism well.
And done all from the tiny font of an iPad that works 50% of the time. But the Humana executives pat themselves on the back for making our jobs easier. Pahaha!
I could have written this word for word. Many of us feel this way. And from the town hall today, sounds like it’s just going to get more complicated as this year moves forward.
Amen
You are not alone. I’m applying outside Humana. Hoping to change soon!
I could not agree more.....so over it. All I can do is what is best for my members.
