I don’t have any doubt that we will be hit by mass layoffs sooner rather than later. Mass layoffs have occurred at PepsiCo in most of the recent years, why would this year be any different? My only doubt is when will they happen exactly and in what manner will they be performed.

You mean the "helpless" desk. Most times you cannot even understand them. This company has really went down to the bottom.
The fact of the unknown is the scary part ... usually around the town hall is the chopping block .... anything with “automation “ with eventually be hit ... it , Dot , the I phones are the wave of the future ... even the help desk is outsourced ... all I know it stinks for all .. Pepsi and Frito .
