Regional managers being eliminated. Only those with the title of Regional Vice President will be retained. Others were told to find jobs a couple months back. Realignments and more stores per Region.

Sudden announcements of Senior Level Managers retiring. Creating movement for reductions and no replacements announced.

Overnight stocking going away March or April time frame. Stores closing Overnight, a small handful will only be 24 hours. Associates will be offered the new CAP positions.

Reduction of Asst Managers due to no Overnight stocking.

Consolidation of positions in Reg and Mkt level Support positions, HR and Asset Protection.

Store Manager bonuses being reduced considerably and will be offered RSUs (restricted stock units) to make up the difference.

Store Manager bonuses can be reduced by a percentage if underperforming and be reallocated to Store Managers performing above them in the Market. (Favoritism at it best)

Company has to move on starting rate due to competitors, thus the new attendance policy to make it easier to turnover associates, and bring in new associates. Eliminates disgruntled long term associates without having to level pay.
Always have a backup plan and an exit strategy!
