There was a time I enjoyed working here, but that time is long gone. With all the layoffs in the past several years, I'm now stuck doing the work of at least three people.
Of course, there is no proper reward from the company for that work. They keep cutting and expecting us to pick up the difference. And the sad thing is we do.
And I don't think anything is going to change any time soon. We should all quit together, I wonder who would pick up the slack after us then.

Don’t worry the layoffs will come sooner than the 301 thinks. So keep drinking that c-ap the union and company are selling. It will be over soon enough. Or everyone should grow a set and quit on the same day. The ship has hit the iceberg and the titanic is sinking fast. I will quit if all the t rates quit.
At OP, I am in the same position. One thing that is different now is that I only do what is barely enough to get by. Sometimes I know my work is bad in the long term, but it gives me some breathing room right now so I can slide thought, and then spend time covering the work the other two laid off guys were supposed to do.
Welcome to the S.u.c.k. "Buttercup", if you ever worked for lower margin parts of GE at this point instead of complaining about having the work of 3 people you would be having the work of 5-10 people like some of us for nearly a decade. Suggest you shut your pie hole and get back to work to help save the mother ship especially for those living high on the hog for so many years.
Don't worry, you won't be there much longer. GE is on the verge of collapse and there is no Warren Buffett to pull their a$$ out of the fire this time.
well.... you may hate working there but when you bleed money and market cap, you need to do more than 3 jobs if you want to keep it.

Since Jeff made commitments to France when buying Alstom and Saudi Arabia for hiring college educated women in the TCS center that are still gapped, they could try to close those gaps and just pray that there are no quality defects in what we are delivering to customers.
