Seems like we waste a lot of time worrying about a lay-off. You leave Friday feeling good and go to bed Sunday feeling like everything is going to end Monday morning. If not for my pension I’d leave tomorrow. Anyone planning for a career at PepsiCo should understand employees are not respected. They are treated poorly and shoved out the door anytime PepsiCo wants to give more to the shareholders.

PEP should guide these resources internally. I got the impression from the local community and employees that PepsiCo used to be a great place to work so when I had the chance to join I took it even though the pay took me back to the late 90s early 2000s. The focus moved away from it's employees as noted on this site often. The result has been a poor product, low morale partially fueled by constant threat of layoffs, and a lack of a meaningful and productive company direction.

If PEP does in fact read this I'd like to offer from the Harvard Business Review under "Leadership & Managing People".... https://hbr.org/2018/11/making-kindness-a-core-tenet-of-your-company
