@Vem4TQb-2jbv Some of my co workers know whats up (some are blind as actual blind person). I do OOS and let me tell you lots of the stuff you OOS basically doesn't ever come. Their is some that is basically discontinued (despite we just did a big reset in tools 3 months ago) and lot of that stuff isn't coming.

This just week I talked to one of the tools associates and he said their hours got cut to the bone. Basically not enough coverage other than one comes and than the other one just goes. They get busy of what I seen, but no coverage what so ever. I think a lot has to do with $$$ and the whole deal with Stanely Black and Decker I am surprised that I seen we gotten tons of other product, but hardly any tools.

Batteries Plus stores can rebuild battery packs...no idea on the cost though.

People who work at the stores probably don't know what's going on with product availability any more than the customers do. They keep scanning OOS and trying to order replenishment, and either it ships to the store or it doesn't. Some products have been scanned OOS repeatedly for months before suddenly they show up. Others never show up. All depends on how negotiations with that vendor are going lately, and the stores don't deal with that, only headquarters people do.

Thanks for the suggestions, is there nobody left on here who actually works at a store?

I would open the battery container and replace the cells with higher quality ones.

Who knows what is going on at SHLD? You may want to try Amazon or eBay to purchase a battery. Both sites have Nextec batteries available. Unlike SHLD, those sites aren't going bankrupt and actually have merchandise available for their customers (not members) to purchase!
