First they laid off managers, put some on PIPS than fired. Now the focus is on getting rid of tenured full timers. I have a very good source. It’s already started in the Midwest. Even if you got away with things in the past, it’s a whole new ballgame. Safety violations, attendance, Customer issues, issues with associates will all be looked at with a magnifying glass. Be on your p’s and q’s everyone. Good Luck.

If you read the updated employee handbook you can literally be termed for anything. They are highlighting those policies and terming people just because they can. BBB has never been about their people just making money which now they are not. They need to trim the fat especially at corporate.
Corporate doesn’t make the money put the hours back into the stores. Those people really care about the business.
No surprise, we knew this was coming
@VatLCpV-1tyy. Hit a nerve? I think so. 😋
In the Midwest, the Company has cracked down on tenured employees also. Our DM and DHR went after a tenured employee of 21 years because she hadn’t moved up to a management position in her 21 years and was well versed throughout the store. The ironic part is that she more than likely would’ve been laid off last year if she had been promoted. This is about staff cuts above anything else. Not “making someone do their job” as the previous poster stated. Vacation time, medical benefits and other FT benefits cost the Company and as you’re all aware, BBB is looking to slim down wherever needed.
Wow, so the company is going to hold associates accountable to do their jobs? That is scary. Maybe you and your "source"...aka...imaginary friend... should quit the rhetoric before you make yourself look foolish. Wait, too late.
