There were several Regionals terminated this week for being not fit for future development. More to come in the future. There will be another major management change and elimination in January. It will involve Regionals down to Asst Mgr restructure. No severance packages will be offered. More to come.

A new one was announced earlier this week for the market I'm in . Almost !9 years for me and I am heavily monitored, by management and the ap's. or whatever loss prevention is called these days. I'm just a dept. manager but I have been as high up as a zone manager. I have worked very hard for this company, and have tried to do my very best at all the stuff that I'm expected to do. Cap 1 or 2 don't do anything in my area so I pull that duty . I am in a couple of depts. that are freight heavy and labor intensive as it needs to be processed before being stocked. I take care of my backroom as well as my floor . I have pushed for getting truth from the management asking why and how come about some things recently, and experienced some gas-lighting , more or less told me shut -up or we'll put this c-ap we made up about you on your work record and try to ruin your reputation. Truth it seems is bad at Wal-mart . the people who preach integrity and ethics the Waltons , the shareholders, the executives and management don't seem to have any . I used to like this job , until I realized what Wal-mart is about. I still do my best , but I hate this company and what it stands for. Check out some of the tech this company has been patenting, in fact I read a article calling Wal-mart a tech company, robot drone bees, carts that can detect change in heart rate and temperature and assist in movement, robotic drones that are going to assist the customer in the store , listening devices at the front-end to listen to customer and worker interaction probably everywhere in the store, ties to the DHS. great facial recognition tech they have. I wonder how deep in debt they are in China and how much of the company is controlled by China . Not a good place seems they are going to use the tech to push even more and more people out.

The original post is 100% correct. 6 regionals were terminated last week. Expect major changes to senior H&W positions and structure in early November.
There were several scores of flying monkeys emerging from my butt. They were followed by galloping herds of unicorn zebra with Rainbow Bright purple glitter. More to come.
