It seems INTC will either take CA or Q will promote him to CEO...they probably won't consider SM at INTC.

Get rid of SM, GD, CA, and JT!
Hopefully both of them are gone.
I heard both as leaving for Intel to wipe Murthy's -ss.
SM, CA, & GD are the three stooges. No one would hire them into a lead company position, the worst ever in Q.

Why the hell would they do that? Those guys aren’t competent to clean my toilet.
They have wrecked qualcomm. They are like farmers who eat their future crop seeds. It will take years to recover from the loss of talent. Everyone I know that is left is looking to move.

I resigned. These bozos have proven they don’t know how to grow a company. I don’t understand how they still have employment as janitors much less c-exec at Q or Intel.

Wishful thinking guys - similar rumors were doing the rounds when SJ resigned as CEO of global foundries. The sad reality is these guys are not going to leave so easily.They will loot till their last breath and leave with a golden parachute when investors finally wake up. Most likely there will be "hail mary" changes at that point similar to motorola with SJ and yahoo with MM but it will be too late. Classic sinking ship prototype.
Intel tends to promote internally.Probaby an Intel or ex-intel person will be chosen.

It’s merely a ploy to justify retention bonuses for CA and SM—And some wishful thinking that Q will be rid of SM as CEO.
INTC will make sure they take CA's brother as well who was promoted director.
