Our transformation is almost complete! Don't believe the naysayers and the fake news! Sears is making a comeback!!! We are simply going through a transitional phase. All companies do. Those that remain loyal will be rewarded.

@Umtwy3N-4evz I'm in same boat. My boss loved to praise but no real money to back it up. Only way to get raise around here is to quit and find a new job or be a new hire.
I have worked for Sears for 10 years. I have been employee of the month at least 12 times over that time period. I have gotten no raise, but I have a whole stack of recognitions and pats on the back. but the paper does not pay the bills.
OP must be the corporate shill we've been all hearing about, who's being paid by Hoffman Estates to post on this board.
To OP:
IF the company survives that long, what would the reward be?
A pat on the back and a Pebble post?
Sears really needs to get off of "recognising" it's associates because it does a really sh--ty job of it.
To the OP- There's a stack of boxes in the corridor just outside your office. Pick one up and please clear out your desk.
Bring on the kool aid and let's end it already!
This post is as dumb as the ones saying that bankruptcy filing will be (pick a date.)
Apparently, OP is Dumbledore, and he is gonna wave his wand and send his bird if you are loyal, and magic and stuff.
OP - We shall see.
@1dgc You are part of the problem if you are on here while working and while ringing up a customer. Not good customer service and you wonder why people quit shopping here. Bad work ethics.
Hey OP: How much is Hoffman Estates paying you to post your insufferable corporate optimism?
Someone got it, though you stole my lines!!!
Hey Sears troll, welcome back! Been awhile since you crawled out of your a hole and made a prediction. Best of luck !!
And you also believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
Sorry for the typos I was ringing up a customer whike typing this
Sears has no profits to pay taxes on
Im confused even if Eddie got a 100% tax cut how is that going to help. Corporations pay taxes on their profits. Sears gas not profits to pay taxes on
Crooked Trump will give Eddie (and all billionaires) another tax break so he can drag Sears corpse around the mud for the foreseeable future. Buy that car and a new house life is good at Sears! Most politically unaware garbage I have read in the past 24 hours and I was on /pol/ last night , thanks for the laugh with my coffee
Best joke I read today.
Those that remain loyal will be laid off without compensation.
Pretty sure poster is trolling. However I remember reading something like this almost exactly a year ago saying about the same thing. More specifically about the "loyalty will be rewarded". Games' up, folks, it is just that fast Eddie and his cohorts are trying to slow down the bleeding until they moment is right to pull the plug in their favor. But I'm thinking they are running out of tricks as the weeks and months go by and with every year even more so.
Those that remain loyal will be rewarded. Dumbledore is $#!t posting for sears? I will be expecting a pigeon to come to cry on me...since it's sears it won't fix anything and I don't think we carry Phoenix birds.
You know, I stuck around for a while thinking that we'd eventually "pull through". Up until about my last year there. I left in early 2016 after my fifth and final "shakeup". Towards the beginning I was not unlike the OP in my beliefs (unless the OP is trolling), even though I've been through one store closure and three (3) job changes where I lost my position and had to reapply for something else. First time - lost my HR lead position due to my store closing. Second time - transferred to another store and filled its open HR lead position. Third time - HR lead cut, reapplied and got hardlines Merchandising/Pricing lead position, final time - lost hardlines MCA lead position, offered softlines lead position. Fifth and final time - softline lead positions were cut. Invited to reapply for zone supervisor but said enough was enough. I could have and should have left the first time or the second time but, stupid me, I still stayed with Sears through it all until my final position as a softlines MCA lead was cut. I was encouraged to apply for the new zone supervisor position which replaced the softlines lead position and I would have gotten it, but at that point I grew weary of all the bad news and worrying about getting the axe, so I chose to leave. That was the final straw for me. I wasn't going to keep playing the hot potato game with my job with the continuation of changing/cutting job titles and the fact that the stores were being systematically shut down, which they still are to this day. About the past year or so before I lost my f
position with Sears for the final time before I decided to leave, I started realizing that Sears didn't stand a chance. Scores of stores continued to close at an alarming rate (and still are), and Sears has not built not one FLS to replace the ones they closed. All the other retailers are building stores, even if it's just a few a year. Corporate started to cut hours like you wouldn't believe, they took away all kinds of positions, skimped on inventory, and came up with other crazy cost cutting measures that have backfired on them, like refusing to invest in the maintenance of the stores, so now what little customer base they had left has just about slipped away since the in store experience is so poor. The job became more stressful as corporate piled on all of these expectations with no help or hours to support the fulfillment of their demands. All kinds of problems never got solved, didn't matter what kind - store maintenance, technology issues, customer escalations. There was always bad news, never any good news, and just about every other day customers would ask me if we were closing. Some of them used the bad news as a kludge against us if they didn't get their way. This happened A LOT with the new return policy that corporate instituted a while back, or if they were inconvenienced in any other way. It was so depressing to hear that all of the time. When I started in 2007 and when I left in early 2016, so much had changed in such a negative way between that amount of time. It doesn't take a Wall Street analyst whiz to realize that Sears is way past saving at this point.
@O.P-- You are exactly right!!!! 2019 will be the best year ever!!! The "Transformation" will be complete. SHC will not lose money or even close stores because they will be BK and out of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bar is so low at this point that 1 commercial would double sales
@Umtwy3N-crn You forgot Toys R Us seems like its Sears time to shine into bankruptcy soon enough.
The only transformation that will happen is that Sears and K Mart will transform into bankruptcy and will close forever.
Best, Ames, Media Play, Bennigans, Mervyns, Blockbuster...
Don't forget Service Merchandise.
Those that remain loyal will be rewarded...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome back K Mart cheerleader - how long does it take for the new meds to start working. We have missed you.
Sure, look at the others who made the same transformation. Linens and Things, Circuit City, Carsons, Montgomery Ward, Toys R Us, HH Gregg, A&P, Sports Authority, MC Sports, Borders...
SWEET BABY JESUS IN THE MANGER!!! HALLELUJAH!!! WE IS SAVED!!!
It’s such a lie. Best year yet would mean >$1B in profits. How do you look yourself in the mirror? There isn’t a person in HE who actually thinks this company has a chance.
What the f--- are u smoking
Thanks Eddie! We needed that. Happy belated birthday by the way
