How is everyone doing?

Out a year and finally healing from the insanity we called “claims.” Good luck to all.
And they advertise with NFL who kneels for national anthem. Drain their RICO swamp asses!
Had my QTD 3/31/18 and started collecting retirement a couple months later at age 55 after more than 25 years with SF. Moved to the south where the cost of living is lower and weather (and people) are much better than Bloomington. Couldn’t be happier to escape Corporate life. Rolled over my 401k to a better performing plan. Life is fantastic. I no longer have panic attacks after waking up in the morning on weekdays. : ) take the plunge if you can. You won’t regret it. Life is short.
Retired earlier this year after 20 years at Der Farm, age 63, able to live on just my pension for now. No need to collect Social Security. House paid for, car paid for, no bills beyond monthly utilities, only set my alarm clock twice in 8 months and have only had to be someplace at a certain time three times. Life is great! Enjoyed the work at the Der Farm, the people and BS, not so much, but it was definitely worth it. Hardly remember where CS is! It worked out great for me. I was just a technical analyst, not pulling down a big pension, but enough.
4tvu is a troll. He makes the same comment about every 60 days. Ignore him.
pension is strong and solid
Heard Pension done
My Sales leader says he only works three days per week. Don’t they have any accountability it’s sad situation, he says I need to quote more but everyone eligible or the rate is out the roof. Please unload them and cut rates.
No value in Sales Leaders I would rather have a extra specialist she does more than he does what a a waste. I don’t understand why we have them a couple of emails a week and nothing else. My sales Leader says he hangs out at home on conference calls and then makes a couple of calls and hangs out by his pool. He said if you travel apply for leadership no pressure and you can cruise bye best job at the Farm. Why am I here at my office at 9:00 at night and he’s just hanging out talking about travel and what we can do in Hawaii.
Need to unload some dead weight agents ones that should of never should have been hired especially some of the new ones that are living on nothing looking towards the future with no hope old ones that never go in and again should never had been hired. Greedy Sales Leaders just looking for another app major step down in quality from prior management from prior years most are TMs from operations that think they know what they are doing. Good Luck! Putting people into bankruptcy telling lies. The first thing that comes to mind is piece of sh--!! Time to unload the SL’s talk about c-ap!
LOL at the guy who owns this site constantly making lame comments about "dead weight" to rile people up. Go check out all the other forums on here. He does the same thing on all of them.
Dead weight? In my area, among those who I consider to be the top 10 performers there are 4 of us left. Of the 6 that are gone 4 went to competitors and two left for adjacent industries. They all left on their own terms and seem extremely happy with the decision. I am seriously second-guessing myself for staying at this point.
Lol dead weight. Farm is not lucky to have you they deserve you. Enjoy.
LIFE IS GOOD...THANKS...a lot of dead weight now gone
A good example of the “best and brightest” everyone is claiming leaving the Farm.
I straight up told my manager that he was welcome to lay his head down on his desk and open his mouth wide so I could take a huge dump down his throat. Then I quit before I got fired. Liberating!
My QYD was 7/31, after 20+ years. Good riddance SF. The boots-on-the-ground employees are the best but leadership is lacking, which I won't miss. SF leadership is so full of kiss-up, brown nosed, yes-men, kool-aid drinkers. Leadership has built an environment that says you're with us and our new ways or else. Too many mngrs afraid to say anything for losing their positions or chances for advancement.
Rare to find any manager to challenge or say 'what about' or 'what can go wrong'. (I often asked my younger mngr yeah-butt questions but was discounted as having the old way of thinking - which was also wrong). Founder George said integrity was our policy - pls find me leadership that is willing to ask the hard questions (w/o being an a-hole).
Don't you think if management was confident in their decisions, they'd be more open and welcome to challenging questions. Find me a TM, CSM, CM , or exec that has integrity. The emperor isn't wearing enough clothes.
Training, leadership, and EOM each have to change. It'll take someone new to make these changes. MT is in too deep to dig himself back out and to regain favor. SF needs either another SF longevity prodigy or a complete non-SF leader (Liberty's David Long??).
To be honest, I'm actually doing better now than I was a year ago. A year ago, I was always worrying if I was doing a good enough job. Now, I no longer care about the quality of my work and I have more job security because a large part of my team has been let go and those that are left cannot get the work done and everyone knows it, so the pressure is gone I can fail and simply blame the failure on managements poor decisions. I no longer worry about losing my job because the team has already been skeletonized and unemployment is a viable option for me. Even if I wanted to get another job which I don't, , the job market is booming.
Hey @UHJYpnC-1asm the money is not important it is the ability to fully inflict your sociopathic needs on a great number of living souls that matters.
I am fantastic! Board is behind me 100%, not that they would voice displeasure anyway. Net worth increasing, headcount decreasing. I added on a new wing to my lake mansion at the Ozarks.
My only wish is that the associates were more appreciative, but nothing is perfect. Overall it's been a banner 2018!
I wonder how much you have to
get paid to feel ok ruining so many lives
It’s bad when everyone is unhappy in every department
It gets worse every day.
Depressed. I feel like I am digging my own grave.
This place is going to put me in the ground if I don’t get out soon.
C-appy.....how else are we supposed to be doing? Oh yes we are supposed to smile and not show any outward signs of negativity at work....but remember we hate our time at work, behind those fake smiles we are forced to wear, is seething rage and blinding anger at how awful we are treated and lied to. Please don't insult our intelligence...we all know how awful and c-appy our lives are at State Farm, and that stupid New EOM process that isn't going to change that.
