Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Data on product launch failures?

Whenever Cisco announces a new product, there is always zero market buzz. As an example, if you search for Spark Board there are only a few paid content pieces and blog posts from Cisco marketing staff. All of which was around the Early 2017 launch, absolutely nothing since. The thing is, this seems to be a common pattern with all new Cisco products and I was wondering if anyone can name any exceptions which have at least 1 piece of organic buzz that wasn't a paid puff piece.

Spark is a total joke. Even we who build it know this.

@UHETcEE-cmp Nonsense, there are plenty of Tech bloggers out there. Search for Slack and you will see thousands of articles, posts, and buzz on it while Cisco Spark has litterly zero organic reach. Spark is just a shelfware product tailor made just to sweeten the pot on larger deals, no one uses it except Cisco internally.

It's not consumer tech. Enterprise isn't s-xy or understood by the blogosphere "journalists".
