Now Dave Marsella will be in charge of presentation, WHAT A JOKE. This guy knows nothing about apparel, wants everything on quads, no mannequins. Hmmmm, he wants Sears to look like KMART, I guess 'cause they are doing so well.
He's so sarcastic and condescending and demoralizing during his visits, just goes to show his lack of confidence in his abilities.
But what does it matter anymore, at this point I'm just collecting a paycheck until I find another job.
DM's will be an extinct bunch in the next 6 months. Ours was one of the most profitable in the company and he was let go during last years cuts. His replacement is now taking on 19 stores and I am sure there will be more added to the district list. Looks like DM's will be eliminated and regional people will take over.
I work in the NE region, Gareth is gone a DM told us last Tuesday along with Pete Bowman. Then 2 days later our DM was also pushed out and replaced along with movement of our RVP to the Midwest and replacement by a current Sears RVp who will now over see both Kmart and Sears. I am one of the last few ASM's left and will probably be shuffled out myself soon enough. It's a shame but a growing reality at this point.
Gareth is gone. Not in the directory anymore. Why was there no announcement? Did he leave or was he pushed out?
Yeah. They held on to Adrian for a while just waiting for something suitable to pop up that they could stick him in. Can't lose a guy like that. He's amazing.
I know one DMIT that got reassigned to SGM. Redistricting occurred, but don’t know when it officially takes effect. Gareth is still in the directory and JG’s title hasn’t changed. Got any follow up?
