@TaLcyxc-2miq - I'm the qc guy that knows the ins to "Qualcomm's Wifi mesh" technology. Like much of the VP smoke-n-mirrors, it's that. Tech loves pure propaganda - when told about utopias. NXP is the sleeping giant that will take over the offshored 'mesh adventure'. NXP has a lot more markets for Wifi than the 'china-designed' mesh currently being pursued.

@TaLcyxc-1jzx is either an NXP wifi guy or the Qualcomm VP who planned the latest connectivity reorg. Shame it's impossible to tell which it is anymore.

Good people, clueless leadership have repeatedly squandered a lot of money and effort.

Wait it out, take the package.

"QCA is #1 in mesh WiFi." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA too funny! NXP will eat up QCA as soon as they come onboard. Cheaper, smarter, AND - they're offshore. QCA will be sold off as soon as NXP is finalized. You are funny though. Keep believing...

@lkd

QCA is #1 in mesh WiFi. Sorry to hurt your ignorance

And the AP hw development provided by Atheros acquisition is simply a money drain. QC always loses on hw product. Chips and licensing are the revenue streams. Hw is always a money drain.

QCA, No CAL is dying. When the NXP deal comes to fruition, qc will kill off QCA since NXP can do wifi much better. The wifi design is already done offshore, so it will simply orchestrate wifi development out of NXP instead of Santa Clara. Bye Bye QCA.

AHM was about as clear as you are going to get : future bleak, no business need for it.

Another case of a decent company being acquired, fiasco of merger and then several years of stuggling before closing. Q got the technology it needed; does need the site or folks.
