Take the job. Keep your head down and your mouth shut, collect your money while you find a reel company to work for.

go ahead and join. it is the best company in the whole world. the management here is enlightened and gentle and kind to all. just do your job, expect no career or personal growth. training is non-existent. but that's what happens when a excel CFO becomes the CEO and is a b--ch to the EM bosses who only want to s--- the remaining vestiges of profit from a dying technology.

other than those little things its a great place to work.

I tried XenDesktop once. What a disaster. It was worse than trying to have a conversation over a satellite phone with a long delay. Why would you ever use XenDesktop if you could access the application without it? You don't need XenDesktop for SAP or Concur or Workday. Just use your web browser or the phone app.

Yes we bring our own laptops in. That is one of the many cool things about Citrix: BYOD. We run our apps and desktops from any device anywhere. We also run our apps in Citrix including Concur, SAP, etc. That is literally, the point. I use my XenDesktop everyday. As for RSUs, I have not been at Citrix long and they gave me a ton of stock a few months ago. We also get really good bonuses. The fact that the below posters are unaware of this and the fact that they think that BYOD means we don't use our own products lead to the conclusion that they are lying and/or inept. And really, look at the majority of posters on this site - complaining about Indians, Chinese, H1B, etc. Look at the guys who type all the curse words using dashes. Apparently, that is what passes for intelligent dialogue amongst these folks. I really doubt any of them work at Citrix. All of my co-workers are intelligent and respectful people focused on positive change.

haha, the person down there who said "its the greatest job ever" is a moron, or HR person. The fact is, I worked at Citrix for over 13 years before leaving earlier this year. Citrix is a dying technology that is borderline irrelevant in todays world. Look at it this way, Citrix doesnt even use Citrix. Citrix uses workday, salesforce, concur, etc. Years back we used to use our own technology to access Siebel and SAP, then we realized that our technology is too slow and unscalable by todays standards to work, so we moved off our own tech. All employees have access to XenDesktops, and they never use them. A company that doesnt even use their own product is a great sign of where the company is going.

As for great pay? Are you kidding? I left after 13 years and only after leaving did I realize just how underpaid I was. Citrix doesnt offer RSU's like every other company, their benefits s--- compared to the industry, bonuses are a joke. There is literally no reason to make a career of this company.

It depends which location you are getting hired, I would stay away from Raleigh. The leadership is bad, extensive favoritism, maintenance work, I would be spectical of joining that.

Ignore the trolls whining about how oppressed they are. I doubt half of these losers even work at Citrix. The other half who do should quite complaining on this site about how hard their life is and just work harder. This is the best job I have ever had and I am old. My bosses from my manager to my VP are all ethical. They look out for my best interests. All of my co-workers feel the same way. We work really hard, but it is a good job with good pay and benefits. To me, working at Citrix is a privilege. If you have a chance to work there, you should jump on it!
