I was laid off may 21 last day. No one in my chain or managers that I worked with have reached out or said anything to me. Very sad I thought I worked in a close group away from San Diego. I really thought people cared, I was wrong.

@ean cannot block anyone any more as everyone is VPN-ing nowadays - it's a one click ip address change now... the best they can do is manual clean up - given the amount of traffic here, you'll need to have an army of people do it - good luck layoffs dot com, you are fighting an anti-troll battle you cannot win

I'm glad the post was removed. Whoever was disrespectful should be blocked from the site permanently, it was such a bad remark.
That said, one post removed did suggest that MS didn't send the offer for counseling to the right audience (those affected by the layoff), you know, the people that most likely need the help. You have to talk real slow to "executives" sometimes to explain to them basic communication skills.
Was this person affected by the April layoff? Tomorrow is the last day at work for some of them.
Any comments with H1B or Infian words are removed quickly by H1B admin!
That is very disappointing to hear. We should offer support and help our fellow colleagues who are looking for jobs, so we can prevent such incidents. Checking on an impacted or worried colleague will cost you nothing. We're humans and should behave like one.
Yeah somebody made fun about the fall and suicide of the employee. No respect anymore even between us. What a disgrace. Pure racism and nasty responses. Grow up people, stop being so nasty, disgraceful and bully about every topic. If you are not happy at Q do us a favor and leave or juat shut up.
