I’m pretty sure the WARN is activated when the packages are handed out. But this could also mean a lot of the cuts will be in Asia, India, and Europe. IOT is restructuring, so most of its people will get packages.
@1hqx you are wrong. Is googling so hard for you?
50+ and 33% blah blah and all from Fed WARN. And of course, there is CA WARN which is more stringent.

The WARN Act also is NOT activated when the following coverage thresholds are unmet:
If a plant closing or a mass layoff results in fewer than 50 workers losing their jobs at a single employment site;
If 50 to 499 workers lose their jobs and that number is less than 33 percent of the employer’s total, active workforce at a single employment site;
If a layoff is for 6 months or less; or
If work hours are not reduced 50 percent in each month of any 6-month period.
OMG! This is like totally amazing!
Hugs for Qualcomm ❤️❤️❤️
joy joy happy JOY!!! rainbows shooting out of unicorn
No you are rejoicing too soon. WARN will be notified like "one day" before the employees are notified. So by the time WARN is updated 2 weeks since - the employees would have already been notified.
The employee is kept on the payroll for 2 months from the date of notification. WARN also expects the same. A 2 month notification - which basically is the same day!.
It wouldn't be on there until after employees are notified.
I gotta get some of whatever you're taking. Warn notice will be around mid-April.
