All the positions being eliminated will be offered severance and you will have through June for the transition and the ability to apply for other roles. The severance packages seem to be averaging the 2 weeks per year of service.
I'm not getting much done at my store. I packed up all my stuff though. Do you think they will let us go or just give us notice?

For someone who tripled their salary, you don't have very good grammar skills so I doubt what you say is true. Don't degrade hard working Team Members on here who are very on edge right now.
I have met and worked alongside some of the greatest people here at WFM over the last 10+ years. Thoughts and prayers to all, no matter the news we are all about to hear. RP sent the vague invite this morning to the entire regional office. Going to be very difficult to face this news in person and in front of the many impacted parties (could be me too!). Let the trolls troll, that is what they do best! As if anyone would listen to the gossip & hearsay on this site and decide to leave WFM based solely on what they read here.

I have to disagree. I worked for WFM for over 10 years than amazon bought us out. Thats when I woke up and left for triple my salary. Youre idiots for staying as the job market is a disaster now. Maybe you can use that severance pay to buy a nice rug for that cardboard box youll be living in.

The calls are all happening at the same time across time zones> 4pm eastern =1pm pacific. Presumably to prevent the issue that happened last time of people finding out from this site and others before their calls in time zones outside the east coast happened. Everyone will find out at the same time.

From what my STL told me yesterday, they are eliminating the sign maker position as a whole. They are unsure if a severance package would be available
Yes I also just received an email from UPS at 11:06am to my personal email address showing delivery scheduled from "Whole Foods Market Inc" to deliver tomorrow. Not sure what it is.... severance? SW Region - guess we will find out on the call at 3pm...

The current Gig has guidelines on severance pay. If they are cutting jobs and don't offer a similar position they should really honor it. If they offer you an alternate sh-- job and you take it, they don't have to pay you.

Some people here post very specific info. Unless you know first hand, or your call already happened (which everyone has it at the same time across the US), please stop speculating. It bring unnecessary stress and panicky feeling to us all.

Yes, there are calls scheduled for the SW.
NorCal SGA here. Yes. We have a call at 1pm. like the rest of you. It sounds like MML's have one at a earlier time at 11am I think. This feels just like 2 years ago.
NA has a call today at 4 with SGAs, marketing, STLs, and the RP.
