State Farm came up with segmented adjuster plan 2 years ago. Now they realize that the model doesn't work. It doesn't work as evidenced by the overtime hours I incurr just driving to losses that have claim reps living within 15 minutes. So I have been working inside the model doing what I am suppose to. Now I am being let go, basically fired because I did my job the way they ask me to do. Shame on State Farm. I want to know how I can work for a company for over 20 years delivering the promise agents make everyday and some managment people, who dont ever interface with a policyholder, produce nothing more then paperwork and charts, can now cut claim rep numbers and drive others to resign and retire early with there poor decisions. GJ would be rolling in his grave!!

@STkNQk6-uil I like your post!
After 24 years, I quit effective today and couldn't be happier getting away from this toxic company. Got a better job. Good luck to all. There is life after sf.
Same thing happened in Systems. 6 years ago they re-orged Systems and essentially ruined it. Now they're firing people who are in the roles that THEY ruined.
Why are these a--hole executives still here?
Agree. Been fire adjuster over 20 years. Great reviews, do what I am told every time there is a change & now I'm laid off. I've only worked for this company & need to start over when I'm almost 50. This is not the company I was so proud to work for
Amen!
Worst leadership in the companies History. We have so many cost screw ups, overlap of inspections with delays constant. I hope the Senior Leadership doesn’t expect to draw the same multi million dollars salary after this mess. My agent said he has loss over 1000 policies in the last two years. It’s like a runaway train. Good luck to everyone I start with Progressive next week.
Because they are making it up as they go along, and have the bankroll to cover their mistakes that were obvious to rank and file years ago. Now the employee is the scapegoat, while leadership moves on to the next project. How many times have we heard that the business plan is not the problem but the execution of the plan that is flawed? Executive leadership is inept and incompetent and should be held accountable for their poor decisions instead of blaming the employees that have desperately tried to follow their convoluted blueprint, despite knowing it would fail.
State Farm was once admired by everyone in the insurance industry, now they are the laughing stock of it. It took 90+ years to build this book of business, reputation and mountain of cash and now it’s a race to the bottom and we’re in full sprint. It will take years if not decades to get there but it’s the only task they’ve proven they are good at.
I feel for you and all the other dedicated employees that have been affected by the company's stupid actions. State Farm is spinning out of control.
I am sorry for what the poster is going through as well as thousands of others. I know it does not help at this moment, but life will be better without the Farm. It is better to be gone from there then to have them give you a nervous breakdown or heat attack. It reminds me to be thankful for having left when I did. I will say a prayer for you and the others.
State Farm leadership is like Comey!
