This is not 2007. Android ecosystem is thriving and there are several very good phone makers out there. People today are also using the device differently.
Nobody gives a damn about 5G in 2019. so why should the stock price drop?
It‘s like in 2007 with the first iPhone. Autistic techies like @nbp went on about how it didn‘t have 3G, while the phone sold like crazy, because nobody cared about 3G.
Ask some non-autists (if you know any) if they prefer a phone with 4G or 5G, and all you get is a blank stare. The slightly tech savvy ones might ask „Will I have network coverage?“ and your answer will be „Uh uh uh.... but 5G!!!!“
This just in: iPhones wont get 5G in late 2019, due to bitter relationship with Qcom, while Androids will. APPL stock drops 20% in a week.
