What is the new manager structure?

I heard some sales coaches/managers were kept on board while most managers were let go or position eliminated. What is the new management structures at the stores? Are there still Warehouse/Receiving Managers?

Not all managers were let go- in CKTG there was the Gm, one sr, 2 sales coach ( who of all people shouldn't of been kept because they don't do anything except they are joined at the hip and eat all the time) and the warehouse sales coach.

We were told that there are going to be 19 positions to be posted that we can bid for them so those who stayed looks like they will be having to go through the interview process too but who knows.

Funny how they kept some sales coaches around and just slid them into new positions and walked others out. People were hand picked to stay and to go. Senior Managers were walked out of some stores while other Senior Managers at other locations were retained and placed into other positions. If this was how they were gonna go about it they should have just let everyone go and made them all apply for the new positions. For those still left you may have bought yourself some time by dodging this bullet, but there may be another bullet coming at you very soon with the way this new company is being run!

Officially these are the positions that were eliminated from all stores. I know because I lost my job today and have the packet which outlines all the positions eliminated.

-salaried hr managers

-salaried ap managers

-salaried senior ops, senior floor, senior general outdoor, senior hardlines

-firearms sales coach

-customer experience sales coach

-sales coach 1 and 2 ( this includes all areas)

-expertise trainers

-marketing managers

*it does say that some stores may retain some positions due to being complex or a person have unique skill sets. So you will see some one offs but overall this is it.

Post ID: @RwgWj3H-hdm Word is that we lost 8: Footwear, training, hunting, AP, marketing, customer service, hardlines, and a coach in camo. Also heard that there are more to come within the hour.

Which Store was this?

I would like to know this as well. I have been so confused over the last year. Leads were eliminated and called sales coaches, correct? So my store before any presumed changes is as follows:

GM > Seniors (Ops, Hardlines, and Softlines) > Department (including AP, marketing, and training), coaches/leads, admins (no power), everyone else with HR of course being its own bubble.

My understanding is that they are slimming down Seniors and knocking them to department managers, cutting a ton of department managers and consolidating, eliminating the coaches/leads, and the admins are already gone (heard that they were keeping an HR admin).
