This is crazy, there’s a lot of stuff being said and some of it may very well be true however there is nothing actually confirmed everything will be officially released on Friday so until then let’s just wait and see . Some of these changes are good some of them are bad but we’ll get through this together .

It was all legit news Also all bad news in my store. My store fired 2 ASM on the spot (I heard one was in tears when she heard of her being eliminated) and Backroom Lead fired on the spot. Also their is one more firing apparently I wonder if its Softlines lead or the last remaining ASM this is going to be crazy just a manager managing the store.
Its just sad because all this workers that got fired were hardcore Sears s--- ups and this is how they got treated in the end the worse way of being let go.

@sjt- it has nothing to do with store volume or profitability of your store. It has to do with the plan they have been rolling out in stages for two years. Please pay attention to other post on this board and put the pieces together on what they are doing with the company.

@rau if the company is trying to save the appliances side of the business, it could attempt to make working in HA more attractive than it is now.
Layoffs at corporate next week. Not sure how deep a cut, but I can confirm some are happening the middle of next week.
Commission bump? I don't for a second believe that the company would cut all these jobs and then give our HA team a raise, with all the money this company is bleeding? No way.

Honestly I don’t know if I’m keeping my job or not , but I’m tired of all the b---s--- and false rumors . That’s why I said I much rather wait until Friday to get the facts. And a lot of these changes are store specific based upon your volume . I’m currently a Hardlines zone supervisor .
