Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Cooper Tires

We can no longer order Cooper Tires. They were not the best tires but that is one more supplier that has kicked us to the curb.

Aren’t they bringing back Roadhandler?

Maybe they are replacing cooper tires with a cheap Chinese replacement like funi.

@RkGTO3Q-gyd So it pretty much confirmed at this point. Sears is losing more and more vendors its smart to stop doing business at this point.

It has nothing to do with back orders. We called Cooper directly to order a set of tires. They told us they are no longer doing business with Sears.

@cif- Your correct. Just l iike many other things that we are suppose to carry from tires, batteries, to humidifier air filters in Sears and Kmart. They say the manufactuer is having supply problems or that they are on backorder but you can go on Amazon or Walmart or any other place and they have the stock. Insult to our intellegence and not good for the customer

"On the availability matrix, they just say its all backordered. It's convenient that way. I wonder if I walked in to Lowes, Best Buy or other outlets carrying LG or Samsung and get the exact same thing that we sell, delivered in a couple of days tops?"

I can almost guarantee that you would get it in a couple of days at ANY of those places outside of Sears.

From what I see laufenn/hanook must be one of the only tire company's that are still giving us credit. Over 1/2 of my tire room is now laufenn tires and keep getting more every week.

Judging by our HA availability matrix, LG and Samsung seems to be cutting back on what they supply us. So many fridges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, etc. are unavailable. That includes a lot of the LG/Samsung manufactured Kenmore products.
