That's it folks, after 11 years I finally did it. I feel relieved - I got a job at a very small company here in the neighborhood, I hope the stress level will be small as well.
Good luck to all of you.

I resigned over a year ago and it's been great. Qcom got too greedy and now it is paying for it. I was sitting on the fence if I should vote white or blue. After today's new's about the $1.2 billion fine.. I've had it with Qcom as for an investor. Voting BLUE. Broadcom... go forward with the takeover and I will make $$$ that way. Qcom can't do it it's own way... too many lawsuits.
People are stupid who are leaving Qualcomm
I am resting and vesting
If qcom kicks me off.. I am out with a decent package ..
Stay here but don't work..
Make sure you have long lunches.. few hours in gym .. updated skills
I know how you feel, I quit for a lower stress true 40 hour a week job six months ago, and have never been happier.
You get in that Q bubble and you forget what life is really about.
@gfp, can't put fulfilment on my dinner table. Maybe you can
Good for you !! I am still working on Friday night at WT, work - life balance simply BS.
Based on your words seems like you are one of those bastards who don't do $hit !!
@fnb It‘s funny when all people think about when they consider the value of a job is money money money money money. To me, it indicates that perhaps you are working in the completely wrong field, because the idea that a job can be fulfilling and enjoyable and can give you a sense of purpose seems to be completely foreign to you.
OP, of you're serious... were you able to match/exceed your pay/stock/vacation quota?
Nothing is perfect in this world but if this change brings peace to you than congratulations and good luck!
good luck and may you find peace and a good work/life balance.
Qualcomm is not willing to accept my resignation.
