GOM D&C GM and exploration GM leaving along with several senior personnel in D&C & exploration. Is it just about retirements? Something new is coming to GOM. Another reorg? Closing Covington? Maybe we hear more at town hall.

Hey @gfrc, lets just wait for the news to surface. Like just said, maybe we’ll get news in a teleconference soon. There’s nothing to gain sitting there giving a pep rally for GOM. What’s going to take place has already been decided. We rank and file peons will be notified soon enough. Maybe you’ll change your tune when it’s said and done.
The previous poster chose to use insults as a defense for GOM. It could be said that insults are the only way that current GOM employees are able to use in defense of an organization that continues to exist with management personnel and other employees who do not embrace The Chevron Way Behaviors of honesty and integrity. Moving to downstream has been a breath of fresh air for me as a long term employee.
Agree with iff, GOM is like something that won't flush compared to the rest of the business units. Petty, back stabbing and a perpetually immature and hostile environment. So many people Ive met in CVX said they would never go back there as long as they lived. Cut it loose and be done with it. Take a look at the petulant post by fms - arrogant, baseless and totally without any merit at all. He probably thinks Bigfoot and Pro+ were roaring successes.
Well that's what you get when a bunch of pathetic entitled losers gripe and complain about being held up to their obligation of actually having to produce a legitimate valuable service for their salary, which many feel that they can receive without earning.

It is time to really clean the GOM SCM swamp. Another re-org is the way to go only if it is done by outsiders.
