Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Remember the Confidentiality Agreement You Signed?

I am appalled with what folks are discussing here – there is a lot of confidential PepsiCo information here.

This information is proprietary to PepsiCo, henceforth it should not be discussed in a public forum like this.

Discussing layoffs in public (or in group setting) is against your terms of employment!!!

Discussing severance, pay, or any other details is also prohibited and it should not be disclosed or commented on.

Bring it. Hahaha. Pepsi is not about to invest in going after someone they severed for the counter suit and it’s discovery process into how they decided which positions to get rid of (when in reality many were people who were targeted due to tenure and pension). They don’t want to open up that can of worms. Reducing pension liability is one of the prime Smart spend targets for SG&A. It is selective targeting but under the guise of reducing positions, not the people.

Why don’t you remember your confidentiality agreement when they lay you off!!!

You will get no points from your sr. HR bosses for this post. They don’t value Your loyalty and will let you go as fast as anyone else.

Confidentiality you say - That's why people use anonymous sites, so it can be confidential.

I was using that confidentiality agreement a few mins ago in stall #2 - you might want to get a plumber in there because it's backing up pretty good and heard some water splashes. No courtesy flushing allowed when I hit the deck, if you know what I mean...

@RIdwyuN,

I will respond to your post because you mention some points regarding internet security, anonymity, and OPSEC but the people here shouldn't give a sh--.

Pepsi would need a court a order to subpoena the IP address of a poster on this site. Chances they go through the trouble doing that? Unlikely. Second once they get that IPs, they would need to subpoena the internet service provider to link the IP to an individual. Both of these steps can take tremendous time, money, and effort.

Now let us say they go through the trouble of doing that. If someone is using a virtual private network and/or Tor, fat chance you find them.

In other words stop the fear-mongering.

Yeah, I am sure the people who have lost their jobs care about the "confidentiality agreement" they signed. Get over it.
