No wonder USA is losing to China in the semiconductor space, invest in China abandon USA.
@fwt Why do people still believe that the NXP deal would save Q? Hock Tan has clearly said that it won‘t make a difference.
Perhaps you believe that the Q stock price will go up if the NXP deal closes? Sorry to disappoint you, but that is not how the stock market works. The expectation that the deal would close was priced into the Q stock value last year already. Now, the closing of the deal would make only a minor blip on the stock price radar.
NXP doesn't need QCOM to survive !! We are STRONG enough without QCOM
No doubt. Just a group of yes folks who line their own pocket with little care for the thousands of employees that made QCOM what it is. Otherwise they would not have boxed themselves in on this one. NXP shareholders can now ask for $150 a share to close the acquisition as they know it is Qualcomm's only chance at staying independent.
