@1ake to the point. The folks who blame h1bs don’t even have a college degree I was talking to a guy in Amtrak he was telling me that his sister is not getting job in Wendy’s because of h1bs
No, the advice „get a college degree“ is from the 90‘s. All those parents told their kids to get college degrees to succeed in the job market. So they did. They got degrees in social studies, women‘s studies, ancient persian philosophy, namibian board games, history of the west australian a-- flute, and so on. And now they wonder why American companies prefer H1Bs over them. After all, they have those great college degrees their parents told them to get.
I am not joking. Post a job offer somewhere and see what kind of responses you get. You will wade through hundreds of applicants with no technical skills whatsoever, trying to convince you to hire them because at some point during their time in college they managed to rise to the rank of shift manager at McDonald‘s. All those people who think that there are hundreds of thousands of skilled Americans just lining up for technical jobs really must try to post a job offer on some job website. It‘s a great eye opener to see what kind of garbage will flood in.
No you just need to get a college degree first.
That is right OP, also work like a dog, don't shower for at least 2 weeks, eat curry everyday, don't buy anything new, and don't forget the eat A$$ every day so you can get promoted.

We could leave these jobs to Americans if there were enough qualified Americans.
IT high paying jobs are in limited numbers in America so leave them to Americans.
