If Q drops the bid then NXP drops to $70.
$110 is a fair price.
Who else will outbid?

All of you will be layoff on March 30th
Depends on whether you are an employee of NXP or Qualcomm. If you're at NXP, you feel great if the deal falls apart since you would likely bear the lion's share of the synergy cuts. If you're at Qualcomm, this makes it easier for Broadcom to buy you, and you will take the brunt of the cuts. Just ask former Broadcom employees what happened when Avago/HT bought Broadcom.
Broadcom does not want NXP, so it won't happen.
Now it's all about legal wrangling to avoid penalties that Q agreed to if the deal falls through due to Q.
Great news. If NXP is not bought, then there will not be layoffs in duplicated departments.
The board doesn‘t have the power anymore to increase the offer, as they know that a lot of investors are thinking about whether or not to replace them with the Broadcom proposals. They are basically lame ducks right now.
There are some investors who are saying Qcom should pay $135/share.
you believe him100 percent well good luck with that....BTW your comment has nothing to do with the post ??????
SM said the deal will close by the end of the year and there will be no layoffs. Synergies will come from other areas like supplier leverage. I believe him 100%
Simple answer: it won't. Nobody would sell a $1.06 for a buck, except Silicon Valley.
