At my location all the 'lobby signage' was removed from every floor, and will replaced with the new logo over the next few weeks. 'Next few weeks' got be thinking whether this was in preparation for the BroadCom logo. Does anyone know anything about this?

Don't worry about that too much. If BRCM will happen (this is a BIG if) these things take considerable long time. Look how much time it takes to complete the NXP deal, and it's valued less than half of that deal.
