Isn't it really GE-like to make an announcement like this so close to holidays? They're becoming almost like cartoon villains, sitting in their evil lair and thinking up ways how to make their crappy decisions have the most negative impact.
I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel for this company anymore. Whether I'm affected or not, I'm leaving.
The job market is generally good right now. it's the right time to get out of GE and secure your future with a prosperous company.

Wake up, other businesses are going balls to the wall. GE is the sick chicken in the Dow, even as others reach new records. Time to s--- up your pride and move on to a company with a future and leave the 125 year old parasite behind.
