In the worst years, I received a 10-12k bonus. In the best years, $30-40k. Nothing in life is guaranteed though and low performers will get $0-5k.

I think general consensus is anyone with a raise and good bonus but no RSU is not considered long term need for Qualcomm and likely to be laid off if needed

Person who received 3.5% and 20k bonus, no RSUs. This is supporting my thesis of a small stock pool this year. Did you ask your manager why you didn’t receive any?

Interesting....I received no RSU this time but have about 1000+ Vesting by May. I also got 20k bonus and 3.5% raises. What is your opinion?

People who posted receiving no RSU: In a normal year, this would indicate you are back of the pack on your team, really new to Qualcomm, or a poor performer. This year, it is hard to gauge as we don't know how impacted the RSU pool was by the lawsuits and delayed NXP acquisition. The more people that we find out they received nothing, the more I'd think this is just a reduced pool. If rating was >5 and raise/bonus looked good, don't take no RSU as a sign of concern for a near term axing.

We will not see anyone from Q China, Q Canada, Q Europe, Q Israel or any other regional offices coming here asking such a question. Why? Because Indians are raised in a Caste System and the top Caste who can afford study really thinks they are superior human beings and they are entitled to whatever they want, including promos or a fancy title and no substance beneath. Who told you your Q title will guarantee your success outside Q? You are about to face a reality check.

I think anybody who did not get the RSU is probably at risk of synergy reduction with either merger. Doesn’t mean it will happen but I would be prepared with alternative planning.

You sound like good solid employee who is probably redundant and will be displaced by others with more seniority or something similar if mergers happen. You probably have good work product but are probably not very busy with current project reduction

Person who posted: 3% raise $18k bonus and no RSU. This is an interesting combination since the bonus is healthy which would suggest you had a strong contribution this year, but no RSU suggests they don't think you will contribute much in the future.. The raise seems low compared to the bonus, but that may just mean you are very highly compensated for your title and that is dragging down the raises.

So, in summary, you are a highly paid in title person who does really good work, but your department is being dropped or moved in the near future.

It is a row of failed strategies one after the other: for instance the change from biannual to annual review was a terrible mistake, Q was ahead of competition due to the non-stop review mindset, we used to complete one review and were ready to start a new one to get stocks and bonus in 6 months. Now the motivation has dramatically changed, folks will spend half a year doing just enough since it will not matter performance wise. And now HR and management want to reach attrition goals for 2018 and the folks leaving are exactly the ones who could change the fate of this dying company. The incompetent pet-like folks will stay until the very end. In the past, Q would fight hard for each employee, I witnessed a coworker to get promoted when he got a lateral offer from Broadcom and he lied saying he got a promo from Broadcom. I just hope to find a new job and leave soon.

What a mess. I joined Qualcomm in 2014 before the big mess in 2015. I knew the second day I made a bad choice. I wish kk did not offer the job. Frankly I have no passion to come to work in last six months. I would give anything to have my old job back: I pray to the God to bring me to workplace of happiness and success. Please God save me.

Got 5 out 7. 3% increase in base and 13% cash bonus. No RSU however. Needless to say that i am very disappointed. Didnt think qcom was doing this bad.

My review was 6 (out of 7) rating in QCT, 4% salary raise, 13% bonus, no RSU, no promo, previous ratings 5, 5, 5, 4. It looks like the trend is to get 3 to 4% raise and around 10% bonus. Given that now this is an annual review and all the negative prospects, Q should be concerned about the upcoming attrition level and has given a flat +3% raise across business units. This will not impede the attritions (resignations) but it may fool a number of folks. I set my mind to leave soon.

are you sr. staff or principal? being downgraded to 3 rating seems to be a bad indication. there will be layoff phases (1-4) and I would recommend you to start looking. My VP explained that when you don't get RSU, the upper management (SVP, VP, Sr Dir) dont see you as a long term asset, so it is another red flag.

Interesting . I get to the 3% and 20 thousand US dollar bonus with 3 rating but not get the RSU. Also I receive the 5 rating last time. This is very much confusing. This does not seem logical? Or is this logical this day?

I got 4% raise and 12% bonus and no RSU.....not sure what to think....but I’m going to leave as soon as I can. I’m grateful for work but the long term prospects are very grim now. I have enough crazy at home I don’t need constant instability at work. Any suggestions? Btw I was forced into kk misery when ET left.

I was promoted last mid cycle and only got measly merit increase with it.

If you were promoted this cycle you should still get all three, though who knows about actual numbers.
