Anyone heard rumors about moving out of the more expensive Cali site? Mark T. wanted a presence there and it seems current leadership does not.

Double LIKES to @2njb, Citrix is Elliott Managements ugly skank that did not turn out to be the lottery for them like Dell and EMC. They are desperately trying to dress this pig-in-a-poke to sell her off to the first possible gullible suitor that falls for it. Too bad, Citrix had so much promise but GREED got in the way...
"Citrix management" ????, it's now "Finance Management"
Citrix management is in the hands of Elliott. No M&A, no innovation, no R&D. Just building closings, layoffs and stock buy backs. Anything to try and bump the stock price so that Elliott can cash out.
ya, Citrix is a laughing stock of tech companies in silicon valley, nobody would wants to work at Citrix unless they are in between jobs or just need employment to pay bills. Inevitably new employees move on to other companies after 366 days and vesting of any first year RSUs.
That is what you get when you have no technical leadership , market growth or innovative ideas to capture the market.
Downward plan started 2 years back, 4 buildings (including 4555 address) to 3 to 2 to 1 to next step 0.
Finally numbers . . . . . .
Citrix has building 3. New and never occupied. A testament to unfulfilled plans.
They could keep building 2 for the EBC and move everyone from building 1 into 2. They moved all the labs out of Building 1 to co-los a while back so they dont need much space in Building 1. They will still have three floors empty after consolidation into Building 2 and can always layoff more people to suit the consolidation.
I've only heard about them consolidating down to one building, not about leaving the area. They would have to divest NetScaler if they want to leave Santa Clara. They will have two empty buildings in Santa Clara in an area with an over supply of office space. This shows that Citrix is off course. It is the impact of Elliott and the failure to develop new products that is causing the layoffs and the resulting empty buildings.
Won't be surprised, Any thing could happen in Citrix !!
