Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

Farewell Citrix

This weeks starts the the next chapter of my new work life. I have been making contacts and actually found a couple of things (two part time jobs) that should work fine for me. The transition to the Cloud will continue to be painful; Citrix and others will hurt for some time.

If I could give some advice to those of you that stayed. The first would be to work hard, and make your job count. Be the first to take on new responsibilities and try new things. The second would be to stay off these Web Sites, and not get involved with rumors. You made it through the first layoff, so good for you. If you stick around these Web Sites it just makes you cynical.

I wish you all the best and good luck on your job hunt, and for those that stayed keep the working hard. Make every day you come to work, because it can end in a blink of the eye.

@cwz my point too. I'd rather walk into a situation that I have some info about (this site helps) than just go in completely blind (like they had us before).

Good luck! But I will add that these sites are beneficial to those who are in the dark and stressed out of their good sense because they don't know what's going on. This site is a resource to keep up-to-date and not walk in to work on Monday and realize something is up because your badge doesn't work. Just saying.

Good luck - I am looking too - it's time to go. I am single, no loans, no house, etc. - It's easy to move on. Not that simple for some of my best buddies at Citrix...
