GE leadership paid its self 100,000's of shares today. Rewarding failure when will they learn that greed is not good. I wonder who will be the first to sell them off?

Why is it so hard for some of the GE leadership loose site on accountability? Cash flow - Overdue Receivables, isn't that someones job? If it isn't getting done, why don't we put someone in place that will get it done, or should we just invent a new buzzword and make the excuse that we are contemparizing the process to be more diverse and generational friendly. What a joke the excuses people are making for not doing their job, and they are getting recognized for this stuff. Put in a ping pong table get an award... LACK OF FOCUS and REALITY is the problem.
Well said 2wji
Get rid of your contractors that do the work. Get rid of solid performing employees in the U.S. or Western Europe - they are too expensive. Save the company money by eliminating all travel. Give up your desk phone. Reduce employee awards and cap them for the year. Consider hand written notes to award employees instead of financial awards. Cut benefits and health insurance. Kill the pension for new workers. Under fund the pension for existing workers. All while we continue to layoff so that the fat cats can get bonuses and cash they don't deserve. If you're a CEO of GE and you make more than $100K a DAY yet you are the worst performer for your entire duration as CEO against other peer industrials, then folks we really have something very wrong. Hell, even our internal goal as a company is to reach $2/EPS which is not even an internal goal. It might be a goal in Finance but not something the troops are going to rally around. Leadership is so out of touch that they think that is an acceptable goal for everyday employees. Wow, nothing like making rich people richer as a motivator to get up in the morning. Yes, it is the basis of Corporations to make their share holders money but it should not be our internal marching song. How about we make the best products in the world or power the most efficiently or make aircraft the safest? Corp greed at its finest while the fat cats get rich raping the company and the every day middle class gets the shaft if they're lucky otherwise gets shown the door.
Hey boys looks like you want to get on the gravy train but sorry there ain't no more room.

@1zae, please do not share the executive stock buy playbook with everyday GE employees. The executive team needs all employees focused and devoted 110% to actions that positively impact the business bottom line, not distracted by what strategy we use to fill up our coffers within that process. Carry on everyone there's nothing to see here.
its all in the cards...drive the stock down, execs get to buy very very low....make a few announcements, and wham.... they are making profit....
They want us to cut cost by saving paper, pencils, and turning our laptops off to conserve power while they rape millions of undeserved dollars from GE.
When will the insanity stop?
$50 million since 8/9/2017
Looks like you've been shafted again by your leaders. Whoops!
SEC filings on the 8th September. Stock options granted
Flannery - 600,000
Bornstien - 200, 000
Comstock - 200,000
Rice - 200,000
A few other of the leadership team were also granted 200,000
If this is true it doesn't surprise me. All we are hearing from these leaders is how tough times are and we need to conserve our pencils, paper, copier use, and power consumption of our laptops. But, they don't hesitate to pat themselves on the back with massive monetary rewards.
