There are some veterans in Cisco but please tell me which BU that you see a US marine Director reporting to a VP who is also US Marine, then to an SVP, then to another SVP, again to another SVP, and to an EVP that they are all US Marines? However, this is commonly seen when the SVP / EVP are Indians and these groups are not in India.

I can validate that is true, that both the directors and VPs at cisco and juniper are interchangable.
a. my old director went on to the senior director at juniper, southern india.
b. he then took the two of the managers joined him.. same village.
this is a open secret.
not saying this is not the same thing as some other companies..
our current director is a us marine and still is and all the buddies of him become manager.. guess this is just the way we people are..
A highway is connected between Cisco and Juniper. The system is abused by people that exercise nepotism. These friends and relatives who transition between the two companies and all occupy the positions as directors and executives in both companies. Due to the focus on personal relation, there is no trade secret between the two companies. Many executives of both companies were from the same village in Southern Asia. They now join the same backyard party over the weekend in Cupertino or Saratoga.
Wow...just looked. Its a mirror image of this site...rather amusing! Have Cisco staff left and joined Juniper or the other way round.
at some point you need to understand that we are in a permanent economic depression. Forget about resumes and finding another job. THERE ARE NONE...the only hope for you and your family have is to own your own business...it will be hard and risky but the sooner you accept the new reality that the baby boomer world is OVER....
hey OP - you can link to any company here on layoffs.com by doing an "&"and company name from the url - so for them it'd be &juniper-networks and for us it's &cisco-systems
They always hide layoffs, wife used to work there - they are as bad as we are. Sh--ty pay too...
