not "schadenfreude" - i think - we are all swimming in the same fishbowl and the pain they are experiencing is a part of our pain as well

They saturated the market with their licenses and cannibalized their own IP. Their products are too expensive and everyone figured out that parents didn't want to keep building these expensive sets only to be destroyed the next day. Star Wars or not.
Since it's a private company they can cut as much as they want. The construction bubble finally burst. If I was Mega I would take note not to overextend and plan for flat.
At least they act quickly when they miss. Included in their assumptions are that toy sales will begin to slow and maybe decline in the future. It's best days are over and the fear of a secular decline will become reality.
Saw this today - 8% of the total workforce is massive...
