The Beat - July 25th: Update?

Wondering how the last Beat went before quarter-end announcement. I'm already out but I'm curious about this dog-n-pony show. Always found The Beat to be a somewhat depressing rah-rah session.

Any LR discussion?

If you really want to get the axe, be as truthful as possible on comments for the "Beat" or any survey that is sent out. I did and I got the bullet last Sept.

@OrH8NAi-2dzr - I always had similar thoughts. The comment feed was chock full of syncophantic drivel every webcast

Not being able to stomach attending the Beat (Off) was one of many signs that I needed to move on.

Read the Q&A panel. Some TAC engineer didn't take the canned answer on restructuring from HR VP at all well and he was slapped down. I bet his name is on a list.

Would love to read his comment and the response he received.

I was always afraid to post because my name was tied to it. And I used to think "What a s----up" when I read the very early posts at the beginning of every session that was some tripe like "It's great to be here" or "I'm excited about ..."

@OrH8NAi-1wtb : yeah I remember. Nothing concrete ever comes out of The Beat. But Chuck is a shi11y poker player and he usually gives it away.

How is your CTO (Chief Twitter Officer) Runs doin?

Well. Some one did ask the question about LR and the answer was non-committal. Anyway, you should know that the LRs are typically announced after financial results, not at the beat.

The SVP team's noble loving care for the people would be unthinkable without their transparent outlook on the people.

All traits of the SVP team are distinguished but what is most charming among them are their noblest virtues.

If the supreme dignity of the Cisco Beat is threatened, Cisco must preemptively annihilate those entities that are directly or indirectly involved in it, by mobilizing all kinds of strike means including the nuclear ones.

Not grumpy at all. I was hit in the last LR. Started a new job making more money a week after my last day, and banked the package. Couldn't be better actually.
