Unless you are a VP or fellow or higher collecting a half a million or more telling people about the billions in profit that go to pay the dividend and keep the stock holders happy while you slave away for you 3% raise while the company goes down the tubes is of little consolation

Those who discount AMD with arrogance are the same people who are the idiots that put the company in the current situation.
They forgot how that little company out innovated Intel with lower clock frequency efficiency while Intel idiots pursued Tejas, how they innovated dual core and Intel responded with Smithfield.

AMD Q2 earnings: net loss of 16 million dollars. Intel net profit of 2 billion dollars...nuff said.
Also agree. For the past 4 - 5 years Intel has tried so hard to keep the condition of the company a secret. That is now becoming impossible as we see with the fab ramps, 8th gen core, and so many other problems. Keep watching because things are going to get really interesting with INTC.
