Novomet has good people and good equipment. There is a lot of potential to take it to a greater level of service. Novomet will be a great addition to the Halliburton family of fine offerings.
Novomet will be a great addition to the Halliburton ESP family of products and should help both companies to become more competitive. Borets and Baker better take notice!
Novomet started by some scientists from the Center for Powder Metallurgy to make pump stages. They also have slimline pumps with PMM. They have slowly expanded their capability to higher volumes as they have grown outside the Russian market. I don't believe they use powder metal for higher flow rates (i.e. mixed flow stages). With their PMM, they can operate a PCP without a gear box.

Novomet is a Russian artificial lift company that actually employs smart people. If true, OKC is gone.

To all current employees of Halliburton. The most positive thing you can do for your family and yourself. Is to find a real company to work for .A refinery,production,oil co. Are entirely out of the petroleum industry.
Halliburton has zero interest in you are your family. And will use you up. Work you long and hard. And when it slows down. Your a liability.
Wonder how much Uncle Dave guaranteed them in case the deal falls thru? (Probably more than Novamet is worth on the open market)
No one seems to learn the lesson. If you buy in Russia the Russians will win.
well seems that we do not learn from mistakes must be the fact that Halliburton has to much money to throw away has there not been enough loss in this company with bad decisions all over.
come away from buying further companys and look after the work force that is still here there has been to many jobs lost with throwing money about and these mistakes have cost people & there familys pain
