Spot on ddme. You could praise your corrupt middle managers, they will find you did and be given a 2+ on your next PMP. But the corruption goes in and your department could end up being slashed.

When do all of us that answered critically but honestly get let go? I've been waiting for ages to get my severance package.

Exactly as stated by 3vvw, these employee surveys can be traced right back to you. So what's the point in filling them out in the first place? I'd rather not participate in the survey if I need to sugar coat everything. One also also wonder why these surveys are needed. If the top executives of Chevron have trust in the hierarchical management structure of the enterprise, why does it need an employee survey? Just ask their direct reports if everything is going fine. They'll get a "Yes" answer. I know the real reason for this employee survey is because they know there's systemic problems at the lower rungs of the organization and the executive brass doesn't trust the various buffers of management to provide them with the unfiltered truth. But still, these various buffers of management will have some way of getting wind of who you are if you dare complain too much. That's why I simply ignore completing the employee survey whenever it comes out.

The survey tracks back to each individual. Like the Whistleblower hotline, any criticism of the old school friends and family management system will put you at the top of the list for the next ROM.

Are you under the impression there have been no fatalities under Chevrons operations?

You must be one of those proud Chevroids who hides on message boards. Having to lie and claim someone accused Chevron of murder.

If you have to lie, maybe you should think about your argument and whether it is legitimate to begin with.

I wont call you names as that would make me just like you. I'd rather be a Chevron fatality than you.

@2xqu, Better tell them what they want to hear than being silent, or worse... going off and leaving the reservation. Moral to the story: Don't trust these surveys.

My friend worked on the cvx surveys for years. Friend also informed me that the tiny number tags you to a unit so feedback goes to the right organizational management. Otherwise everyone would get all the feedback that does not apply to their group. Anyone with fewer than 10 responses does not get data at all. Friend also said individual data was never viewed or stored by CVX in-house. Contracted company kept it and just reported amalgamation. Better the survey than silence.

Yes indeed, 2xfk. I'm sure it is you that would know a thing or two about "compensating" for your own shortcomings. I bet you're the one with the biggest truck in the neighborhood and could stop with that alone. You also had to jack it up really high and add thrush pipes to the exhaust to wake up the whole damn place. Oh yes, that's you, little big man.

Well thanks for hijacking my legitimate thread. I hope the moderators delete this soon. I was attempting to give those recently cut a voice on the employee survey if there were valid criticisms brought up, but I guess the sophomoric jerk seeking attention's presence is too strong here.

Yes indeed, 1ssy, I'm self conscious about my size. Only because I get people staring at me all the time, not to my face, but at my crotch. Some joke to me saying I should go into porn, that I'd make a killing. I've been stopped several times leaving the supermarket where they thought I was stealing cucumbers.

@JA49mVH-1xpu Ha ha ha ha ha ha ROTFLMAOBOAY!!!! The one thing that I can assure you about the person on a thread who has to constantly refer to his "Size"; He is the one who has always been self-conscious about it his entire life because he never has "measured up". Don't be so obvious, -1xpu, you're embarrassing yourself!!! LMAO!

I never trusted this damn employee surveys handed out by Corporate HR. They say it's totally anonymous and the results are tabulated by an independent third party entity. Yeah, my a$$!!! Have you noticed that little 2-point font serial number at the tail end of the survey? It has a purpose, you know. It identifies you directly. So go ahead and tell them the truth. If they don't like it, you'll be moved to the top of the list for the next layoff.

the last employee survey came out 3 years ago. I don't think the do anything with the comments they get other than say they conducted a survey.

Is that survey really anonymous? They say you have a unique number assigned to you as you click the link. So they can trace you if they want. Does that sound right?

Usually people whom are complaining about victimizing are professional victims and whine their entire lives about every little thing.

"stop killing employees and contractors" does Chevron commit murder now? Or is that just a figure of speech? Either way I did not know that! That's big news. That is some Wild, Crazy, Wacky Stuff. However, I suspect it's false, just like the poster's perception of himself. If you are aware of or witnessed a murder and did not report it. You are just as bad as the murderer, you anonymous coward stupid dillweed.

Quit whining and get a life, A-hole.

Stop the bigotry, bullying, hate mongering and victimization. Stop the terrible project management such as Gorgon, Bigfoot, Ambu, Pro+, Angola etc. Stop the arrogant pride in aforementioned garbage management. Stop killing employees and contractors and saying how proud we are of our company.

Too much process. No one person can make a decision. Need a committee (DRB) for everything. Herd mentality.

We can rid ourselves of half the supervisors and managers. Only half are good enough but the other half is holding the company down.
