I am a red badge so take my comments with a grain of salt here... I am here temporary as I will be moving out of country in 2017, but Cisco has way too many layoffs to be a stable and prosperous company... We do annual layoffs - how is that right? If you're working in one of the old SA BUs then, IMHO, your days are very likely numbered. On-call is tremendously stressful and the work life balance is simply not there.

@1ndo: because s/he is cashing in and then moves on in life. Which I don't mean negative, it is a plan - something I cannot say many of my green-blue-ish colleagues seem to have. Why people with citizenship or green card dream about Cisco's "glorious past" while sitting in Silicon Valley is beyond me.
So, why are you still here?
