@1qke - we lose money on just about every deal in India. Beats me why we do business there at all.
I don't how this one commentator have come up with the figure of $40B but just googled for fact checking and it seems there are several deals between India and US in pipeline worth $10B+ in defense, nuclear energy and civil aviation. Whatever it is, one point I would like highlight is, US need taking care of its allies - NATO, Asia and countries like India that share common democratic values with US. You cannot make NATO pay for hosting the US bases in their country. This is the price that the US must pay to maintain the global influence to keep Russia and China at bay so Mr Trump is dead wrong about making Germany pay for the US base there. Fxxing Loser.

Several American companies have heavily benefitted (profited) from rapidly growing Indian middle class. When Google, Ola, Cisco and hoards of other US companies got booted out of China, India is giving them 20+% growth Y-o-Y in Asia. So vote Trump at your peril.

Need to view the issue from the higher level, not only H1B. It is known that Indians and Indian consulting firms are good at abusing American visa system. Many are working in SJ, RTP, and BXB with L-1 and even the tourist visa (also faked degree). The bigger issue is how to deal with a culture that is used to cheating.
